After 5 years in Spain we are now PERMENANTE residents.
I so luckily found Manuel and his dedicated team in 2023 after a house sale in the UK. My the Abogado assured me I had to pay my CGT twice, once to UK and then again in Spain, luckily being a Yorkshire man, we don’t pay twice. That’s when I found Manuel and all his amazing team.
He’s been invaluable for everything and he’s made us as a family feel safe in all our financial and legal matters here.
There are lots of legal matters here and not much of it can be easily done on line or over the phone.
But with Manuel you just need to make a phone call at it will be sorted and sorted correctly.
T.I.E
All the TIE problems have not affected my family and after only 1 call we had appointments in our own Province of Almeria all the paperwork was emailed to us.
They checked with us after each appointment that it had all gone smoothly and they even gave us a discount because we went on our own, it’s easy if you have a little Spanish. We collected the cards on the 18th of November Job done.
They really are the Best.

We will never forget the difficult situation caused by the sale of your home in Barcelona due to the failure to obtain your tax residency certificate on time — something that led to the unnecessary 3% withholding, and later to a tax investigation where the authorities even requested Capital Gains Tax in addition to refusing the refund.
We are very happy that, after nearly two years of legal and tax work, we succeeded in getting 100% of the 3% refunded and avoiding any capital gains liability. And even happier that, when you recently sold your other property, we were able to prevent the 3% withholding from being applied again — because if there’s something we value even more than solving a problem, it’s preventing it from happening in the first place.
