cliente, los corrigiera. A menudo se pasan por alto los plazos, lo que da como resultado presentaciones apresuradas e inexactas. Los correos electrónicos, los whatsapps y las llamadas telefónicas con frecuencia no reciben respuesta, dejando al cliente abandonado y desatendido. En la última etapa de los procedimientos, frente a una posible apelación al sistema judicial, el abogado desapareció por completo, negándose a comunicarse conmigo, por lo cual me vi obligado consultar a otra firma. Esta falta de los principios básicos de cortesía de gestión de clientes da como resultado una calidad de servicio muy deficiente. Le recomiendo que evite tratar con esta Asociación. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. I requested help following receipt of an adjusted tax
assessment from 2019. Whilst the Partnership initially seemed competent,
appeal documents were often incorrect requiring amendment by me, the
client. Deadlines are often overlooked resulting in rushed and inaccurate submissions. E-mails, whatsapps and telephone calls frequently go unanswered, leaving the client neglected and abandoned. In the last stage of the procedure, before a potential appeal to the justice system, the lawyer disappeared completely and would not respond to my attempts to communicate, so I was forced to consult a different firm. This absence of basic polite client management principles results in a very poor quality of service. I recommend that you avoid dealing with this Partnership.

Conocí a los abogados de Lullius por un problema que hace 2 años se solucionó- por este motivo los eligí para llevar mi contabilidad.
Ahora- que he decidido cambiarme por motivos económicos, desde el último Mail del 26 de NOVIEMBRE 2024, en el que me aseguró Xavier Rubert un traspaso sin problemas a la nueva asesoría- ni yo, ni en la nueva asesoría hemos escuchado nada mas.
WhatsApps, correos electrónicos, visitas de mi abogado que se presentó en su despacho- todo sin respuesta.
Estoy sin la venia, sin traspaso, sin fin de año- la nueva asesoría tendrá que hacer la contabilidad otra vez.
Quien pagará estos gastos?
Como que desde Noviembre no sienten la necesidad de contestarme me veo obligada de tomar consecuencias.
Siempre me gusta ir en buenas.
Pero si no funciona, no funciona.
Y si significa que tengo que ir a poner una queja al colegio de abogados y reclamar mis gastos con la ayuda de consumo- no dudaré en hacerlo.

I first hired Lullius & Partners back in February 2025 to deal with an AEAT (Spanish Tax Authority) issue that I had being they never answered an Appeal Filed 6 months prior filed by another Lawyer to challenge an Embargo Seizure made against my holiday villa of 288,305 euros, in this scenario I was advised by my previous Lawyer to sell the property and pay the Seizure amount off and Appeal it after as this was the procedure in Spain.
Anyway I was dealing with Xavier (the founder of the firm) and I emailed him across all the necessary dealings I had to do with my previous Lawyer and relevant documents dealing with the filed Appeal and also an overpayment of Capital Gains Tax on the sale of the villa of around 11,000 euros (made by my previous lawyer) on top of the 288,000 euros with the Embargo or Seizure which was paid off with proceeds from the forced sale of the villa.
Xavier was very quick to respond stating how he would deal with the case in February 2025 being:
Regarding your first question, if more than six months have passed without a response from the Tax Agency, it could be understood that your appeal has been implicitly rejected (desestimación tácita). In that case, we would be able to proceed with a claim before the Tribunal Económico-Administrativo Regional de Canarias. However, before taking this step, we would prefer to submit a “procedural acceleration” request (escrito de celeridad procesal) to prompt a formal response from the Tax Agency.
As for your second question, since the Agencia Tributaria (AEAT) is a national agency, all procedures can be managed from anywhere in Spain. It will be essential to obtain authorization to act on your behalf, but rest assured that we can carry out the necessary procedures from any AEAT office in the country to ensure progress.

After receiving such a prompt and confident solution from him I decided to proceed with the firm, signed the client care form and paid the 1500-euro deposit. After that they stated they needed to get a Digital Certificate to access my AEAT Account which they did.
From then all it all went downhill, all off a sudden what seemed so simple and straight forward becomes complex and involved, they were meant to be liaising with someone in the Spanish Tax Office, they were going to provide me with an Action Plan of their protocol.
Anyway, one excuse after another without providing any documentation that he has even done anything official for me or indeed even contacted the Tax Office at all.
Xavier becomes extremely evasive not answering emails, not providing answers to questions and certainly not doing what he said he was going to do back in February 2025.
Months pass and here I am in September 2025 having wasted 7 months with absolutely no progress being made at all. Frustrating, Stressful and a horrible experience.
All this firm have done is nose about in my Tax Affairs after I have given them Authority to do so after that NOTHING!
I have wasted 1500 euros and 8 months on this and not even been provided with a Tax receipt for this from a supposed Tax Specialist Lawyer.
Don’t believe the fake reviews and go elsewhere. Like 9 in a week.

Tax Attorney & Partner Mr. Xavier Rubert is NOT to recommend. He does not respond to emails, is impossible to reach by phone, and promises meetings that never take place. However, he is very efficient at sending invoices upfront. Definitely, not a lawyer we would recommend.

First and foremost, we must remind you that the services you engaged us for were fully and successfully delivered, despite your persistent efforts from the outset to dispute our fees. Our firm, like any professional legal service provider, adheres to clear and transparent terms of engagement, including payment conditions.
The refusal to schedule further meetings was due to your accumulation of multiple unpaid invoices, which remain outstanding to this day. These invoices correspond to services that were duly provided to you and completed successfully. Our general terms and conditions explicitly state that, in cases of non-payment, we reserve the right to suspend services. However, in your case, all agreed-upon services were fully rendered. What is not acceptable is demanding additional meetings and advisory services while failing to settle outstanding fees.
Given these circumstances, it is, at the very least, surprising that you would write such a review knowing the real situation. To prevent issues like these, our firm requires upfront payments—a policy designed to protect us from precisely this type of scenario.
Finally, we reserve the right to take any legal action necessary to recover the unpaid fees.
